CubeSat

We conducted research and development of a CubeSat with a mission of orbital change using rotational separation for the orbital demonstration of our research results. In this mission, we achieve thrusterless formation flying by rotating and separating two satellites that are coupled. In this satellite, a 2U-sized parent satellite and a 1U-sized child satellite are equipped with electromagnets and permanent magnets, respectively, and the accuracy of formation flying is improved by adjusting the coupling maintenance and separation timing of the two satellites. We introduce our satellite here in detail.
