Prospective Students

Aerospace Vehicle Dynamics Research Group studies various new technologies related to spacecraft and develops satellites with the aim of demonstrating these research results in orbit. Students are actively engaged in research based on a free spirit and have a fulfilling laboratory life.

Reserch topics

Basically, research themes are set based on your own new ideas. When you are worried about your research theme, you can choose from several themes presented by the professor. First, we will discuss the goals and schedule with the teacher.

Weekly seminor

Students report their research progress in front of teachers and other students at a weekly seminar. The purpose of the lecture is to share the research results up to that week throughout the laboratory, get advice on research, and readjust the research policy. It is also a training to summarize in a simple report format and presentation material with words and PPT.

Project

The Spacecraft System Group (Inamori Laboratory) is developing satellites for the purpose of demonstrating research results in orbit and for studying satellite systems.  The assigned students first conduct newcomer training to gain knowledge and development experience related to spacecraft.

New member training

Through new member training, students will learn about spacecraft knowledge, research and development. Specifically, we will ask you to tackle analysis issues and elementary development issues related to satellite attitude determination control.

CanSat

As an early stage of satellite development, Inamori Lab is developing CanSat mainly by under B4 students. We will participate in ARLISS held in the Black Rock Desert in the United States and conduct a sub orbital satellite launch demonstration experiment at an altitude of 4000 m.

CanSat

CubeSat

We are working on CubeSat development as a practical satellite development. This is a project for the entire laboratory, mainly centered by over M1 students, utilizing the experience gained in CanSat development.

Life in Lab

The Aerospace Vehicle Motion System Engineering Research Group does not have a core time, but as a general rule, let's conduct research activities on empty frames. However, it is necessary to attend the following, so please adjust your schedule beforehand.
・Morning briefing and nigit briefing
Set a weekly activity goal at the beginning of the week and see if you were able to achieve it at the end of the week and what to reflect for the next week.
・Weekly seminor
You will present the research result every other week.
・New member training
Acquire the knowledge necessary for satellite development.
・Events held throughout the laboratory (satellite development, drinking party, laboratory trip, ball game, cleaning, communication)
You will be assigned a desk and a PC. Place textbooks and materials necessary for research and classes so that you can work in the laboratory as much as possible.
